Biotin supplement labels often promise glowing skin, thicker hair, and stronger nails. For most people who already get enough biotin from food, the clinical evidence behind those claims is weak.   • Improve skin, hair, or nail outcomes in people who are not biotin deficient, beyond what a normal diet already provides
  • Reverse pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia)
  • Repair hair strands that are already damaged, since hair above the scalp is not living tissue
